I am a 5th generation Oregonian with deep roots, strong values, and a lifelong commitment to serving my community. Raised in Portland’s West Hills and a graduate of Lincoln High School, I remember when Portland was clean, artsy, vibrant, eclectic… and welcoming. I believe Oregon can reclaim that spirit.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Warner Pacific University after attending Mount Hood Community College. In 2000, my husband and I chose to raise our two daughters just east of Sandy, near the forests and trails we love. I cherish Oregon’s beauty, from its coastal shores to its high desert and the mountains of the Mount Hood Forest. Hiking and horseback riding there remain some of our greatest joys.
For the past 14 years, I have built a successful real estate business serving the surrounding Portland metro and rural areas. Through this work, I have gained firsthand insight into housing affordability, property rights, land use, and the economic pressures facing Oregon families. I also just completed a four-year term (2021–2025) on the Clackamas County Parks Advisory Board, where I advocated for strong stewardship of our parks system and for preserving the spaces where families rest, recreate, and connect.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a residential mortgage broker and spent ten years as an educational assistant in the Oregon Trail School District, along with three years as a substitute teacher. I also created and directed a volunteer-run after-school drama program to give students a creative outlet and build confidence. I also served on the East Metro Association of Realtors Education board in 2015.
Public service runs in my family. My great-great aunt, Nan Wood Honeyman, made history in 1936 as the first woman elected to Congress from Oregon, after serving in both the Oregon House and Senate. My great-great grandfather, Charles C. Hindman, served in the Oregon House of Representatives in 1921 and on the Dock Commission. Their legacy of principled leadership and civic involvement inspires me to continue serving with integrity.
Like many Oregonians, I am concerned about rising crime, increasing costs of living, and policies that have eroded public trust.
I will protect election integrity and prioritize government transparency. I believe the government must be accountable, fiscally responsible, and grounded in common sense. We must safeguard civil rights, free speech, and the constitutional principles that ensure every citizen has a voice. With deep roots, practical experience, and a heart for service, I am ready to bring principled leadership, accountability, and thoughtful solutions to help secure Oregon’s future.
We can restore balance.
We can protect quality of life throughout the State of Oregon.
We can ensure our communities remain safe, prosperous, and united.
I believe strong leadership inspires collaboration, and real progress begins when we work together.
